Lauren Alaina became an instant fan favorite of the American Idol competitors of Season Ten. She is known for being unique and her dedication to God. Lauren Alaina is based in Rossville Georgia and was raised in that area. Her passion to sing when her cousin, who had gotten unwell with a tumor that was growing on the brain convinced Lauren that she should pursue singing. While in American Idol she quickly became acquainted with the the winner Scotty McCreery. They both shared a passion for country music and Christianity. Even though Scotty took the win, Lauren was less than thrilled lost to her acquaintance and kissed him several times when it was revealed to what would later be called Proof of McLaina the couple's nickname used by Lauren and Scotty's fans. Lauren is coy with Scotty for a while, and did so for several weeks. Both claim to be like brothers and sisters and best buddies. Wildflower came out on the 11th, 2011, but she's enjoyed a massive quantity of success since then with her debut at the top of iTunes.
