Jeanie Marie Buss is an American businesswoman. She is the current president as well as the sole owner of the Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. Buss is a California native Buss has been raised by an affluent family. Jerry Buss' father was a real-estate magnate who later owned the Lakers and several other companies in the field of sports. After her parents split up in 1972, she believed they'd abandoned her.
